 From The Publisher...Michelene K. Bell With September’s ending there is a definite change in the weather. Out of all the seasons I enjoy the most, I believe it to be fall and spring. Fall begins to provide relief from the summer heat and also denotes a time of slowing down. Of course, Kalisad, my wonderful cat of eight years, helps in this recognition. Already he is snuggling down between my feet at night and he sleeps during the day under the blankets — indeed, signs of a new seasonal cycle. Even now, as the cool evenings and mild sunny days begin to seep into our world, I am very aware of a calmness within. Now is the time, at least for me, that a different phase of my life begins. When I am calm there appears to be more clarity, more opportunities for creative ideas. There is no anxiety, no fear. When I walk upon the Earth, my stride feels anchored. Self-esteem and acceptance are heightened — there is a knowingness deep within…it’s a great feeling. It is during these periods of calm that balance is obtained. I leave the drama and chaos outside…if only for just a little while. It’s amazing how one can flow with Spirit and life in general when calm. Think about it, if we are calm amidst all the chaos, would we not able to remain impartial — an observer if you will? Knowing that, "what is, IS" allows for change in perceptions. What great things these three little words can do. Have you ever awakened to your inner most feelings and equated them to the seasons? Have you noticed your life shifting at certain periods in time? I believe that when we realize how our nature’s coincides with Mother Earth’s time clock , we can accept ourselves where we are, without judgment, and flow with the undulations of this planet we call home. Again, flowing with the workings of our planet, Spirit, and Universal Source would put us on top of the wave of change. Why is it we struggle so much? Perhaps because we are not synchronistic with the Spirit of who we are. Yes, Fall is a wondrous gift and with it comes many opportunities. Happy Halloween…enjoy the Fall season of change. |
