Song Of Fear

by Danielle Jackson

There are many rapid changes happening all around, shifting the familiar into the unfamiliar. Whether it be financial, health, relationships, or spiritual situations, there is very little that remains as we have known and understood before. Uncertainty and feelings of lack of control over these situations often bring up our fears and unconsciously we begin to restrict our movements, limit our experiences and attempt to deal with situations that, hopefully, can be brought back to "normal."

The dynamics of fear is very circular and once you get on the merry-go-round of fear, it can be very difficult to get off. From our earliest experiences, many are taught that we live in an unsafe and uncertain world and if not careful there will be unpleasant consequences. Our first experience with feeling fear insures us we never want to experience fear again. So we actually start fearing fear and our creative process becomes a reactive response to minimize the degree of any fearful possibilities, and so begins our song.

Each thought we think has a frequency wave and when the majority of thoughts are centered around the same theme (song), they begin to create a resonance that becomes integrated in the auric field. When thoughts are emotionally charged, the resonance increases and adds volume as it expands. The frequency of fear carries a very discordant impact and is usually experienced first in our physical form and more subtly in our environment. However it may be initially experienced, the resonance of fear eventually creates a barrier that filters out the potential of the love, joy, peace and prosperity most are desiring.

The words of the song are common: “I don’t think I can; I’m only one person; I don’t seem to have enough; I don’t want to be hurt, etc.” The words of the song reflect how we view ourselves, our world and our relationships with others. The songs are often about belief in injustice, loss and victimization. It is not uncommon that we sing a duet or join in a chorus with others in this song of fear. Our collective fears have kept love, harmony and peace from being anchored here and it is time for us to consciously begin to sing a different song. Since the resonance of fear excludes the potentiality for love perhaps it is time for healing ancient hatreds, conflicts and existing issues of separation. In doing so, there is a wonderful opportunity to create "anew" and to declare an end to the limiting aspects of fear. There are ways that we can begin the healing:

1. Define exactly source of the fear.

2. Explore within yourself what you would desire instead of the fear.

3. Discover things you can actively do to begin to move through the fear.

4. Seek professional or spiritual guidance for support and direction.

5. Meditation is a wonderful resource for experiencing peace and clarity.

6. Sound therapy is a unique and effective way to restore harmonic balance and in decreasing anxiety.

7. Allow yourself to become more assertive about your life and your participation in what you want.

8. Begin using your voice to express your feelings and desires.

9. Be willing to forgive yourself and others for what has occurred in the past. All our belief in the validity of fear is rooted in past experiences.

The responsibility of raising the consciousness resides with each of us. As we are willing to heal ourselves and allow the resonance of fear to be diminished and dissolved, we each create a space for love to become the harmonic resonance on Earth. ¤
