During Y2K there will be blackouts in many parts of the country, some areas will be without water. Mental fear of ruin permeates a lot of people but its effect is not strong economically. Some newspapers will not be printed on time. The outcome of Y2K is that science will advance and people will become more cautious. The spiritual beings seem to indicate that though there is government propaganda or manipulation behind Y2K, it works in the favor of the people. They become more cautious and ready for Earth changes that happen later in the year.

2000 will be the year of courage. There will be a cleansing of the Earth. After the first eight months there is mental clarity.

This is going to be an intensely emotional year and the spiritual beings indicate that to bring the planet into balance, each individual must learn to balance their emotions. This is one of the key tests of year 2000. There will be death that literally strips away the past leaving new beginnings physically in some places, but overall emotionally in every country.

Where events take place North America is filled with nationalism, communication is prolific, communication about family, children and property. America holds its own economically throughout the year. Though there will be periods where it seems strapped to make repairs, the communication industry remains strong and will continue to feed America economically.

South America is a mess. It looks like a lot of fighting over family and property issues. Major changes and upheavals. In Europe there are eruptions, volcanoes and fire. There is a struggle to take control of the continent. There could be an army coming in, but it seems more likely it’s the fires that they are fighting to get control of — not an outside force.

Asia is not in good condition either. It could be a drought situation, dryness or fire. There are tremendous expectations being created at this time (now) that will not be fulfilled as expected in 2000. There is a feeling of depression, like a blanket of sadness over this continent.

Africa seems to stay behind the scenes. There will be more water there than now. There seems to be an increase in psychic energy and awareness there as well, though I doubt that you will hear that in the news.

Australia seems to be the best continent to be on. It appears to have the most emotionally fulfilling year.

Will there be any great advances in technology?

They say even in the beginning of the year there will be some advancements. Creative arts is moved forward. It seems like a highly electrical advancement. I believe this means advancements in videography, photography and television, as well as all kinds of graphics software. Communication levels increase at an even more rapid rate. Even though it doesn’t seem like we could go much faster, we will increase worldwide communication 100 fold this year. (I personally find this hard to believe and I want to tone it down to 10 fold but that is not what the spiritual beings are saying.) Photonics moves to the surface within the first six months.

Some of the creations of year 2000 will be the result of a desperate need to make things happen. Necessity is the mother of invention comes to mind and this is why, despite past failures, there will be a breakthrough in language barriers this year.

Aids takes another turn in 2000, even though there is a spreading of disease. By September there will be some changes that take place that brings about healing.

There also appears to be some problems with water. Maybe poisons carried in water or some other disease that will be an issue this year.

Now an astrological look at the United States.

For the first three quarters of the year 2000 the United States is more concerned about America than the rest of the world. It seems we focus our attention on issues at home rather than on the international scene.

First Quarter begins December 22, 1999 at 2:45 AM EST: Income expands in the travel industry, import of goods/export of knowledge. Opportunities to transform the world or help them rebuild brings in dollars and workers travel overseas. Opportunities to collateralize loans with property in foreign countries. US troops guarding monetary assets in foreign countries.

More plane crashes on American soil. A car crash involving a goverment official captures emotions of patriotism and nationalism. The most likely period for these accidents: February 26-28.

Americans continue to call for freedom from government and corporate restrictions especially in the areas of health insurance; critical care, cosmetic surgery and transplants are highlighted. The American people continue to be challenged by propaganda in the media concerning children, oil, underwater experiments, pharmaceuticals, drugs and poisons.

Second Quarter begins March 20, 2000 at 2:36 AM EST: The national economy struggles with workplace issues, interest rates and health care. E-commerce expands. Foreign investments and foreign luxury vehicles, perfumes, clothing and jewelry expand their market share.

There is a transformation of hopes and dreams of the nation due to international disasters, loss of property and deaths of friends overseas. By April 15, disasters begin. They may include plane crashes, the sinking of a ship or even a submarine, but the most noticeable will be in May with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. All of this is the act of the Earth cleansing itself and bringing itself into balance. Most of the United States is protected. Problems in the Tennessee River Valley — there is a major transformation — women lead the healing. The East Coast has trouble with communications and it’s a mess. Fires in the northern part of the midwest. The mountain region experiences population growth. On the West Coast there may be some earthquakes, but it seems to hold together due to the consciousness of the people. The coast itself will have an inundation of water.

Nationally the people struggle with credit card payments and mortgages. President is not in favor at this time.

Third Quarter beginning June 20, 2000 at 9:48 PM EDT: Long term construction of homes is fed by corporate structures and government contracts. There’s an upturn in the workplace.

There are breakthroughs in family health or health of children or cancer health. Sudden successes in medicine include breast cancer, reproductive cancer, obesity and the digestive process. A revelation regarding sexually transmitted diseases brings sudden success while drugs such as Viagra are re-evaluated.

The people continue to struggle with health insurance, taxes, social security, mortgage money, death expenses and their need for the freedom to control their own choices in these areas. The public is emotionally challenged by government secrets and sealing of court papers in public cases.

Fourth Quarter begins Sept. 22, 2000 at 1:28 PM EDT: Finally America feels back on track. The economy is moving. Communication and trading is strong. International affairs pick up the pace and the president is once more in favor. Now he can say whatever he wants — the people and government will believe him.

Money from foreign investments pays off especially in: drugs, pharmaceuticals, underground oil and gas, fisheries, entertainment, photography, media, software, underwater research, travel books and classic fiction.

The national workplace continues to struggle with its transformation to an information or service center, moving still more industry overseas.

Spamming, electrical communications driven for monetary gains and even a software giant after much deliberation may suddenly be challenged to transform as a result of legal judgement or legislation.

In Medicine, computer implants will begin to be employed to aid the body in its own healing. Medicine will continue to scale down. Less invasive techniques. The government will try to regulate more in alternative healing practices as people become more conscious participants in their own health. Hillary Clinton wins her political race. A major explosion happens New Year’s Day in the middle of the country, possibly the heartland. It may be a nuclear explosion or physically close to a nuclear power plant.

Las Vegas continues to expand, despite opening of gambling in so other many parts of the country. Economy remains high in Nevada as tourism is courted from international locations.

There are a few mishaps nationally in the United States due to Y2K but no major ones, except the explosion mentioned earlier. There will be legal action against President Clinton after his term is over because of the multiple scandals he has been involved with.

Although some place special emphasis on this year because it begins a new millenium in the Gregorian Calendar, in actuality it will be a year of intensified preparation for the forth coming new era which will be noticeably announcing itself toward the end of the millenium's first decade.

So what can we to expect in 2000?

Let's begin with the very first moment when the computer clocks roll over to dreaded double zeros creating Y2k. Will the world go dark at the stroke of midnight? No. Will there be problems? Yes. Will it be a devastating blow to mankind or technology? No. Will you personally feel some of the effects? Yes.

USA

In the USA we can count on rotating "brown" outs, not major "black" outs. What blackouts we do experience will be spotty and short in duration for the most part. Although the brownouts will linger in some areas for up to three months, or more, some may hardly be noticeable unless you are running intricate technological equipment. Others will be very noticeable and bothersome. There will also be the inconvenience of various shortages, but not the wide scale disruption that many expect. Your grocery store may run out of some of your favorite products, but replenishments will come, albeit a bit behind schedule. Gas prices will rise noticeably during the first quarter, level out by the second quarter, and begin to fall shortly thereafter. Most of the country will be blessed with a milder winter than usual, especially here in the Southwest, making the power problems more bearable and less life threatening.

No matter your location, it will be wise to keep a three to four day supply of food and fresh water on hand, gather some extra blankets into your closet, check the batteries in your flashlights and portable radios, (have a set of replacements ready, also) keep a little extra cash on hand, and keep your gas tank filled - prepare just as if you were getting ready for a major storm to come through the area.

Ironically, in the USA the most disruptive effects of Y2K will go unnoticed for weeks, perhaps even months, as minute glitches accumulate by being passed from one system to another inconspicuously. This will eventually create a major paperwork nightmare when the infected companies reluctantly come to realize the hidden cause of their computer problems trace back to the double zeros. For the most part the Internet and average computer users will remain unaffected.

World

World wide, some countries will not fair as well as the USA through Y2K crises, and will experience much more turmoil. Look for Y2K related problems in South America, especially Brazil, and in the mid and far East. Unrest, and major Y2K related hardships may lead to riots in some of the less advanced yet technologically dependant countries. Solar flares and abnormal sun activity will add to the woes of the more technologically advanced countries, and at least one communication satellite will be permanently lost to a solar storm.

Geologically

The earth is speeding toward its major transition and again we will have a busy year. Increased frequency of earthquakes as well as larger tremors. Look for another 6.0 or higher in the southern California / Nevada area within the first few months of the year. Activity in the Ring Of Fire will produce tsunamis which will affect some parts of the West Coast - but the earth is just waking up and the waves and tremors of 2000 are just a prelude, setting the tone for the coming decade.

Economically

Look for a slow growth year and higher prices all across the board. The Major companies that survive the Y2K crisis will be looking to recoup the money spent on preparations. And those that did not spend the millions on preparing will be trying to stay afloat and in the game. Small business that felt little or no Y2K fallout will try to step in and take up the slack but will be held back by lack of supplies and raw materials. Even the productivity of the largest businesses will suffer due to shortages of supplies.

If you have already had the feeling of time speeding up, get ready for more of the same. If you haven't, be forewarned; this feeling will become more and more widespread, noticeable by even those who are not concerned with things like spiritual growth or higher ideals, and will become acceptable dinner conversation at many mainstream households and society parties. Time, of course, is not speeding up. Rather it is the pace of our lives which is accelerating. And accelerate it will in 2000!

Spiritually

"Practice" is the key word for 2000. We know better than we do; it time to start doing as we know. We will be prodded by multitudinous circumstances in our lives to practice that which we already know, as preparation for a major burst of inner guidance and the re-awakening of long forgotten truths which will lead us into the quickly approaching new era.

All the events that we choose to experience in 2000, be they collective or personal, will have a deep purpose to them. They will come into our lives to help prepare us for the coming early years of this new millenium. We will all find that our lives will flow smoother, easier, and bring us more fulfillment if we but open more to our inner senses and knowing. Our intellects can only handle so much input before the circuits start to fizzle and fry. And one instantaneous intuitive decision can bring us more good results than hours and days of analytical intellectual reasoning.

We are all "psychic". And like any ability, it's competency will improve with practice. The year 2000 will be abundant with circumstance to prod us into practicing our "inner" intuitive senses more, and allowing our inner knowing an equal and commensurate prominence with our "outer" intellectual knowing.

Inner and outer, intuitive and intellect working together for our personal benefit, as well as the benefit of all, is not only the focus of our spiritual growth this year - it is the next step on our journey home. Happy Millenium! Happy Journey! Happy 2000!

Perspective. Seeing reality from where you stand. Where have we gone in the past 1000 years, and who are "we?" Predictions, by their very nature, must be relevant to those who live through the events to come. And, they are only relevant to your perspective.

At 12:01am, January 01, 2000, will the seas still lap at distant shores? Will the sun rise as it has for eons, and will the mechanics of the universe still wheel in the heavens above us?

Herewith are my predictions for 2000. Remember, these are only intuitive insights, the future has many outcomes…it’s all in your perception:

1. Hologrammatic Neural Repatterning, a new medical ability to infuse the brain with alternative and/or supportive/reconstructive methods of functioning, has to do with interwoven progressive spirals of magnetic energy fields, containing what has previously been developed as basic behavior modules, delivered by magnetic fields research. Used to the good, this will help dyslexics, amnesiacs, Alzheimer’s sufferers and others with neural, behavioral disorders.

2. A political diversity in the government of France leans towards the Russian Republic, causing stress for the American Congress. This may help our Congress to work together, for once.

3. The next Arianne Space rocket, a European consortium effort, will have a mishap. This happens from time to time, but range safety devices fail and some property in Africa/Madagascar is destroyed from fallout. Talk about intuitive. I don’t know the published trajectory of any of their flights. Initially, the rockets have all been launched from Venezuela.

4. Sadly, a new, unnamed virus that affects the digestive tract, will affect many into healing challenges. However, there is hope as the cures comes from the enzymes of worms.

5. The pope, longtime bastion of faith for millions, will survive all of 2000, save for some repetitive throat issues. Goes along with the strong throat chakra life.

6. The prudent use of the Internet will help thwart government bait and shuffle of important public events, making it harder for the government to shape public opinion. The government, in turn, focusing on the continuation of a campaign to step up surveillance and control of all Internet activities.

7. Major on-line Internet scam activities, previously unheard of deceptions of great magnitude, only now in 2000 begin to surface. Be prudent what you send and where you send it, just like your thoughts!
