Have you ever stopped and asked
yourself what inspires you? What
is the motivation behind you getting up in the morning to greet the
day? Is a child running into the room full of laughter and love? Or
perhaps it’s a day of celebration at work or within the family —
or just because. When was the last time you just sat
with your thoughts and made a list of all the wonders you have created
in your life. All those inspirational times and events that made your
life or someone else’s life just a wee bit brighter. The other day I pulled an Angel Card
from “Healing With The Angels” from Doreen Virtue. The card,
“Signs” encouraged me to look all around for messages from the
angels — and they did come. I am your classic procrastinator,
“tomorrow or later” would be a good phrase. Well, I received a
sign in a comment from a friend of mine. I was telling him about all
the things I was planning to do sometimes down the road. His response
to that was, “pull out of your wallet a piece of paper that says
you’re going to be alive tomorrow.” What a wake-up call. How often have you said “there’s no
time” or “I’m too busy” in the course of a day or a week? Do
you know? I bet you would be surprised. Our world and the people upon her are
all evolving and when we look to our treasure box of inspirations the
lives we touch will indeed bring days of sunshine, joy, love and
laughter. I invite you to make a game out of this
list of what inspires you. See how many you can come up with at the
end of the week. Each morning think of all the beautiful scenarios or
events that brightens your life. There is just so much to be joyful
and grateful for and when we decide to go to that place of the heart,
it sets a tone for the day. I was amazed at the number and after
reviewing the list how much better I felt. Try it…you might be
pleasantly surprised. Have a wonderful August…filled with fun and
laughter. Take care,
