The Birth of Spirit

 The birth of Miracle, the first white buffalo born in over three generations, caught the attention of the world just a few years ago. The real miracle was not just her rare whiteness; she was a powerful spiritual symbol to many peoples, both Native and not. 

As a symbol for World Peace and the Unity of all peoples, she was visited by Religious and State Dignitaries; even the Dalhi Lama made his way down the dirt farm road to the Heider Ranch where Miracle lives. Miracle was, and indeed still is, the fulfillment of Native American prophecy, a plea for humanity to walk in the “Light,” and a symbol of hope for the future of all generations.

As if to emphasize the importance of the message of Miracle, nature soon produced another white buffalo. Then another. One died of natural causes within days. (White buffalo usually have a very short life span.) The other was found shot by an unknown person or persons while still a few months old.

But the Universal Forces… Nature…or Spirit, as I sometimes call that great unseen All That Is, will not be stopped. The importance of the message will be repeated and emphasized until it is heard by all. The birth of “Spirit” surely is a sign of just that - The Birth Of Spirit. The coming of Spirit into our physical world in a much stronger way than ever before.

Spirit, the new white buffalo was born approximately May first, 2000, and is now almost six months old. Although her location is not being divulged, the existence of Spirit is now being shared with all. In Light Times has been chosen to be the first printed publication to bear this announcement to Hope and Peace to the world.

SPIRIT IS HERE! 

Let us all heed the message of Spirit. It is time.

First Official Announcement: 

Spirit, a female white buffalo was born approximately May 1. 

No humans were present at her birth. Her mother and father are both alive and well, and still living in the same field. There are a total of 8 buffalo there. 

"She is approx 6 months old. Very gentle. We thought she should be shared with people to let them know the legend is alive and well. We have seen how the others were marketed, and we do not want to make her into a circus. She is very far from any road and hardly any one sees he, but maybe 10 people." "We have just been enjoying her because she is so very gentle"
