Creating A World Miracle

For three days this week, the skies over our little Arizona town were empty and still. And we, also, have been still, with heavy hearts, searching inside, not knowing what to say.

And as we waited for guidance, we realized that the sound of planes in our skies might never again have the same meaning. We will think not only of hijacked planes, and towers bursting in flames, but of another kind. Military planes, that will carry to our hearts the message of war and rumors of war. Their sound will be the harbinger of one kind of "solution" to the tragedy that has struck close to so many of us.

It would be easy and safe, and perhaps popular with some, for us to stand behind the governments who seek to crush terrorism once and for all. But we cannot support war in any form. What our governments propose is, quite simply, a larger and more fearful form of terrorism.

Going to war leads only to war. It can never be the answer to finding peace. This "solution" cannot be ours. Instead, we would like to ask you two questions:

If you truly thought that compassion for both sides of this upcoming conflict could create peace on Earth, would you still wish to see terrorists as "the enemy"?

If you truly believed the combined prayers of compassionate multitudes could put an end to this war and all wars, would you still prefer to use bullets and bombs? "Will You Change This?" (a quote found in the Bible Code.

A year ago last month, in our premiere issue of the Spirit of Ma'at, we devoted every page to one thesis: We can change this world through prayer. And we proved this through hard facts - scientific research and a wealth of compelling examples. We showed in actual photographs how the emotions arising out of Love and Oneness create beautiful forms in the very structure of physical reality, and how the emotions that arise out of fear and polarity create physical chaos.

World Initiation

The Force that creates worlds and transforms them cannot be found in bombs or bullets, but only in our own hearts. The battle between the Western World and terrorism is, truly, a battle between Love and fear, between Oneness and polarity within our own psyches.

We are all familiar with the tests of initiation that meet us on our own individual paths. Today, the world itself is facing a test of initiation. And as the song says, "We Are the World."

Many of us have become skilled at meeting tests of this kind. We know enough not to argue, make wrong, or try to change those who seem to disagree - whether they are Arabs, coworkers, or members of our own families. We know when we are coming from Love and Peace, our actions will be guided by a higher force. We know when we have conquered fear and polarity within our own hearts, we can return Love and Oneness to the situation with a vision of miracles - and the miracles we envision will come to pass.

In this connection, the Spirit of Ma'at wishes to announce we have just become the sponsors of World Puja - a prayer site for world peace. We will join our collective energies in the cause of recreating a new world out of the ashes of this current conflict. We are planning a live broadcast soon, to pool the collective energies of all of us toward the one goal of Peace. We will let you know as soon as we have a firm date. But first, and most important, find within your own heart the compassion without which our prayers cannot rise.

Out of the chaos that seems to surround us, we see a breathtaking World Miracle in the making. We invite you to participate in creating this Miracle.
