Merlin tells Uther. Perhaps, though, if we were limited to only one word to describe the soul of Born of Betrayal, that word would have to be "destiny". Arthur, son of Ygraine and Uther, was destined to fulfill Merlin’s prophecy, becoming Britain’s highest-of-high kings.

Further, in this reviewer’s opinion, Born of Betrayal is destined to be made into a major motion picture, bringing to life the characters, plots and sub-plots that make this book so hard to put down. Thank you visionary and author Lacey Hawk for sharing your divine purpose in life.
