My Dear Friends, Picture this if you will: a place filled with stars shining brightly in a moon-lit sky; a meadow of grass with brilliant flowers; trees swaying with the movement of the wind; the sounds of a brook in the distance tumbling along at a lazy pace.
I ask you, when was the last time you found yourself in nature? Where the crickets chirp, the birds sing and butterflies flit from flower to flower. Why even the very air itself smells sweet and intoxicating.
Perhaps you have never experienced nature in all her vast array of splendor, her symphony of many sounds, or her moments of quiet composure.
I believe that it is in nature that we can reconnect with our soul that place within us that is hungering for simplicity. I believe too that we have lost sight of our true nature — that of love and non-judgment. Even now I find myself in judgment of what is going on around me— I am no longer just an observer of humanity.
I feel that today’s technology has brought us to a point in life that detours us from our true paths.
How do we handle the chaos and world events without judgment? How do we return to nature without sacrificing our comfort zones? How do we become observers and yet illicit changes in our world?
How would you go about such a task?
I truly welcome your suggestions and comments…for I am, as you are, seeking understanding in a world filled with chaos and mystery.
And this I also know, that as we change and understand, our world will become once again the “gem” of the universe. Write me if you are so inclined and I will respond as best as I can.
In the meantime, have a wonder-filled and loving Valentine’s Day.
Take care,
Michelene
