Dear Louise,
I hear you’re really into doing everything naturally whether
it’s eating only organic food or treating your health with alternative
methods. Are you totally against using drugs of any kind?
G.A., LOS ANGELES, CA
I do believe drugs are the alternative medicine. Drugs don’t nourish or
normalize. There’s no such thing as an essential drug. Drugs are powerful
chemical compounds that are best used as short-term medical measures to arrest
death, overpower a harmful organism, and stabilize your body so that your own
immune forces can have a chance to rise to your defense. I personally think that
the current habit of taking multiple drugs is pure insanity. You see some older
people taking 15 or 20 drugs a day. All these chemical poisons are destroying
their bodies. Most diseases come from misuse of food. People who eat natural
foods and think joyous thoughts seldom get ill. However, everyone is free to
make the choices they think are best for them.

Dear Louise,
I overheard my mother (who is 79) talking on the phone to a
friend, and she said that her heart is deformed in that it’s twisted. She lost
her husband to a heart attack, and my brother died at 40 years of age in the
World Trade Center event. I wonder, what is the emotional reason for my mother’s
worry about her heart?
C.K., NEW YORK, NY
Your mother feels that her heart is twisted in grief. This is probably why
she talks this way. She’s gone through two strong emotional experiences and
doesn’t know how to go beyond them. If she’d be open, grief counseling would
be very beneficial to her. AARP has excellent grief and loss programs. Call
(202) 434-2260 or (800) 424-3410 ext. 2260 for more information. Do you ever
hold your mother in your arms and tell her that you love her? She needs someone
to comfort her on a regular basis. Also, affirm EVERY MEMBER IN MY FAMILY IS AT
PEACE. Then bring peace to your own heart.

Dear Louise,
I’m so sensitive to the energy of others. When I walk into a
room, for instance, I pick up so strongly on the energy that sometimes it’s
over-whelming. This is especially a problem for me at work since I’m a nurse.
What can I do to avert this?
N.N., MONTICELLO, INDIANA
You sound like a triple Pisces-taking on other people’s problems.
Unfortunately, in your profession you see mostly sick people and their
accompanying atmosphere. Taking on their issues isn’t helpful to either one of
you. Always remember that you’re in a terrific position to know and affirm the
truth for these people. Train yourself to look beyond their physical issues, and
know that those are only temporary. Refuse to get involved with their negative
mental thinking. Say to yourself "It’s your choice to think that way, but
it’s not my choice. I choose to see and feel and hear only the good in
life." Just because some-one is arguing in a room, it doesn’t mean that
you have to join in. This is the same thing. Let your thoughts go in the
following direction, and you’ll be a blessing to all. Affirm MY ENERGY IS THAT
OF A HEALER. MY THOUGHTS BRING HEALING ENERGY TO EVERYONE I COME IN CONTACT
WITH. I AM SURROUNDED BY PEACE.
