OUR JOURNEY
We carry such a heavy load
It’s really hard to bear
We want to put it down sometimes
But simply don’t know where
It seems we’re on a journey
With a veil across our eyes
Trying to remember
So we may surrender
our disguise
Our naughty little ego’s
Seem altogether quite real
They’re just our
manufactured selves
They hold no real appeal
We need to learn the essence
Of staying in the now
If I ever master this technique
I’ll surely tell you how
We walk our path’s so bravely
Our destiny unknown
The creators plan so perfect
Our seeds already sown
A whisper of a memory
A love we cannot feel
The two emotions, love
and fear
But only love is real
The winds of time tear savagely
Till our minds can
stretch no more
We will succeed our
mission of peace
Hold strong our mighty core |
