Sanctuary…The Path To Consciousness, Part lI
An Interview with Stephen Lewis
By Heidi Evelyn Rain
Steven Lewis is the cofounder of Energetic Matrix Church of Consciousness, LLC (EMC2) and coauthor of Sanctuary…The Path to Consciousness.
Heidi: Stephen, after undergraduate school where did you find yourself?
Stephen: I elected to sit in on different classes such as metaphysics, physics, philosophy and psychology. Little by little I began to gravitate into what I would call a fusion of physics and philosophy.
When you think about it, philosophy and science are to a great extent one. In the Oriental culture, for example, acupuncture and homeopathy are intrinsically involved with the concept of energy. I found myself becoming more aware that everything was integrated and realized that keeping everything separate, which is the fundamental Western concept, was unrealistic.
Heidi: Was this when you started incorporating the works of Niels Bohr and David Bohm?
Stephen: Their work was part of my evolution — everything was. Ever since I read the first books on Oriental philosophy and medicine, I understood intuitively there was a truth in them. I also saw there was a great deal more to be learned and therefore decided to get a degree in acupuncture.
Through works of Hahnemann, I discovered that my interests were primarily in healing. In fact, Hahnemann’s work in homeopathy was close to acupuncture. This was such a breakthrough for me and I realized there was not one thing in any homeopathic tincture that could have any scientific effect.
Yet at the same time, there was no dispute that they were in fact effective. That’s when I recognized all of this was integrated within the work of Niels Bohr and David Bohm and I knew there was nothing molecular in homeopathic drops. People were coming out on television at that time, saying, “I’m very sorry to upset anyone’s faith, but I’ve examined these drops and there’s absolutely nothing in them other than alcohol and water.”
I felt that what was in these drops was memory. It makes you understand why Hahnemann called homeopathy the memory of water.
Heidi: Did you continue to study acupuncture and homeopathy?
Stephen: Yes. I went to the British Institute of Homeopathy in Los Angeles and the Los Angeles University of Acupuncture. I also started doing consulting work in computers. My education has been very eclectic because I always took courses with a view towards the phenomena of healing. I wasn’t the least bit interested in treatment; however, healing was, and still is, the most fascinating subject in the world for me. That is because healing is inseparable from consciousness and for that matter spirituality.
Heidi: How did you start applying your ideas and knowledge?
Stephen: That was a very gradual transition. I understood more and more how to perceive energy, how to feel it and how it can be used. Ultimately it is a question of empowering ourselves, rather than giving away that power.
Heidi: Explain more about people giving away their power?
Stephen: That in itself was, and still is, shocking. Why would people just decide not to exercise their power and strength? I understand it takes effort for people to believe in their unique healing power. Did you know when we listen to inspirational speakers such as Michael Beckwith, Wayne Dyer or other healers, that we are elevating our consciousness and thus healing ourselves? The problem is that we forget that experience until the next time…the next talk.
Heidi: How does EMC2 help?
Stephen: EMC2 actually helps you to create a 24/7 process. What makes EMC2 technologically advanced is that there are no breaks.
The technology is new because men like Hahnemann did not have computers to assist in their holographic healing technology. It allows the process of remembering to heal yourself — to be perpetual. Healers require a break from their work now and then…its only fair. Computers on the other hand deserve no such consideration and that is the difference.
Heidi: When did you get the vision that created EMC2?
Stephen: I was interested in consciousness and healing, never diagnosis, treatment or curing. I think the vision that created EMC2 has evolved and continues evolving.
It was after working with computers I realized there were some gaps I couldn’t fill because I was so busy.
Heidi: How old were you when this was happening in your life?
Stephen: I would say from the time I was forty to my mid fifties. I was working as a computer consultant and a practitioner as well. People started to come to me for energy healing.
I began to revise and change homeopathy by using frequencies of the remedies rather than the remedy itself. The breakthrough came when I realized the only way to really be effective was to find the frequency of things as they were in consciousness. Once you can help people change their consciousness, you can help them heal anything.
At some point my work, and my vision became one and the same, and that is the healing technology of consciousness.
In retrospect I see now there is no such thing as finished… healing and consciousness has no beginning and no end. We are all divine works in progress.
