Happy 2005! It is my fervent prayer that as we close out the old year and begin anew that we discover the path to unification. Through love, understanding, and compassion we can reach beyond limitations and barriers; thus bringing a sense of hope and peace to those we touch.
Can the world can be a frightening place? Absolutely! Do we give into the fear? Absolutely not!
Our world is changing and each day, each thought is a new beginning. We don’t have to stay locked into a certain mind-set nor do we have to give-in to the pressures of society. Being true to that inner voice, coming from a place of love and non-judgment, allowing others their say…all this can make a difference. When we recognize our value and the value of others, miracles happen.
No one can fully predict what 2005 will bring and I know this — everything is subject to change and we can change it together.
Once again, I wish to share with you, “Don’t Quit” for just around the corner you will…?
DON’T QUIT
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, when the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh, when care is pressing you down a bit – rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is bizarre with its twists and turns, as everyone of us sometimes learns, and many a fellow turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out. Don’t give up though the pace seems slow – you may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man: Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor’s cup: and he learned too late when the night came down, how close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out – the silver tint of the clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems far; so stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit - it’s when things seem worse that you mustn’t quit.
