 Editorial
Welcome to another day and another opportunity for self-expression. When you awoke today, were you excited about having yet another occasion in which to express your inner desires? Or did you awaken believing it to be just another day? Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Is life exciting or a struggle? Are you a controller?
Perhaps you awakened only to fall into the same routine you have known for years? A comfort zone where your world has a familiarity that is non-threatening.
I guess the point I am attempting to convey is that … we did awaken. With each moment that we engage in thought we can illicit change in our lives. If we struggle with life perhaps it is in part due to our impatience for results and that we are not yet ready for the next step. Yet, when I think about it, the doors have always opened when I was ready to step through them; until then I fought my own growth possibilities.
I believe that life is about living in a state of awareness. This awareness is a natural flow of thought that is connected to the greater whole…to that essence we call God/dess, All That Is. When we come from that consciousness there are no barriers…only trust and faith in the Divine Plan of existence.
The desire to control our destiny can create struggle. It is through control that we restrict our potential and because of the struggle we justify our need to gain even more control.
I believe control is dealing with issues of trust for if we were to trust in the Divine Plan, have faith and flow with the natural consciousness of Spirit, then just maybe there would be less struggle.
Please understand, struggle is as much a state-of-mind as is awareness. The only question is… “which side of the fence am I? On the side of fear and lack of trust? Or on the side of faith in the perfect plan of Divine Wisdom.
The important thing to remember is that everyone is on their own unique path and whether the glass is half full or half empty it matters not. For eventually we will realize our Divinity.
