A World Gone Insane
As I look back over the last ten months I have seen so many changes in people’s lives, mine included, as well as the world we live in. If one were to examine the state of humanity as a whole I believe there would be many scratching their heads in amazement. The one thing I would like to believe is that the overall view of our destiny is one of completeness, wholeness and peace…a reality if I can suspend my judgments of a society gone insane.
But what is insanity? Does it mean we’re crazy…mad in the head? My definition is a little different than Webster’s. I believe that the insanity being expressed is the side of humanity that shows the darkness, the unconsciousness of one’s thinking processes. It is also important to remember that the individuals or groups who have not awakened to their true identity are on the same path as those who are conscious and working toward the liberation of their spirit and humankind.
We all share the same Oneness of Life; the difference is that not everyone recognizes this. As each of our journey’s begin with birth, we are given many pathways to explore. Some experience the demons of their mind and find a life not reflective of their true essence. Others walk a path that will bring them to self-realization of their being. Destiny is the merging of many paths into one destination. Because we are all joined together with a single thread from the energetic matrix of creation, no one can be left behind.
So no matter what we judge as good or bad, we are all in this together. We most certainly play a role in the lives of all those we meet on this journey called life.
The question to ask is, “have I made a difference in someone’s life today?” This, of course, includes the one asking the question.
One last thought. Perhaps it is not to save the world, or the neighbor next door, as much as it is the reuniting of all souls into the Oneness of Life.
Enjoy the holiday season as it approaches and find a reason to be grateful for who you are and your abundance of life’s treasures. I am grateful to all those who came to the 2006 SpiritDove awards for man and woman of the year. Also I wish to thank Mitzi Reed for starting the Southern Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce. And most of all, “thank you all for enriching my life” with your support and friendship all these years. You are awesome in all ways!
Happy Thanksgiving my friends, take care,
Michelene
