Knight is the unique channel of Ramtha and author of the best-selling
autobiography, A State of Mind, My Story. Historians and religious
experts who have studied her life’s work call JZ the Great American
Channel and recognize her as one of the most charismatic and compelling
spiritual leaders of the modern age. JZ Knight was born March 16, 1946
in Roswell, New Mexico; one of eight children.
Who is Ramtha? He is believed to be a 35,000 year old ancient
spirit-warrior, conqueror and Ascended Master of L.emurian descent.
Ramtha learned in his lifetime the unlimited potential of our minds for
creating reality and the extraordinary in our lives. His powerful
message of hope for humanity has already changed countless lives — none
more powerfully and dramatically than JZ’s own life.
JZ Knight and Ramtha have captivated and inspired audiences
worldwide for the last three decades, bridging ancient wisdom and the
power of consciousness together with the latest discoveries in science.
ILT: JZ, what was it like growing up and how did you react to
Ramtha’s introduction?
JZ: My great grandfather was a Baptist minister who gave sermons out of
the back of his old pick-up. We were brought up with spare the rod,
spoil the child, and forced to work the fields…going without an
education. I was the 8th child and Helen, my Mother, was the only
support for her family. Then she moved us to Rockwall, Texas where she
was a farm laborer, hoeing, and picking cotton. We lived in a shack with
no running water, no electricity, just a picnic style table with a
kerosene lamp for light. My first introduction to any sort of religion
was with the beautiful African American field workers who picked cotton
with my Mother. I loved them! They sang glorious songs while working and
prayed at meal times. We moved again, after the birth of my brother,
Loy, to Artesia, New Mexico. Mom worked two jobs; one at a drug store
lunch counter, the other after work at a hamburger stand owned by an
elderly Christian couple. We lived in an old army barracks, only two
small rooms across from the hamburger stand. Loy and I played around the
stand while my mother worked until 10:00 p.m. We didn’t have baby
sitters in those days. The Christian couple convinced my Mother to let
us go to church. She relented and off we went to the Assembly of God
Church with a shinny dime to give to God’s Son, Jesus. At the time, I
was five years old and it seemed mighty strange to me that ‘He’ needed
my mom’s tip. I was baptized in the church and stayed until I was
thirteen years old, then quit and never returned. I could not reconcile
how God could send my sister-in-law to hell for wearing a very pale pink
lipstick or that because my Mother didn’t go to church; she was going to
hell as well. I couldn’t wear pants, I couldn’t go to the movie theater,
couldn’t read any book other than the Bible, if I or anyone else did, we
were going to hell and burn forever. I particularly didn’t like that we
couldn’t listen to music and couldn’t even watch Elvis Presley because
he was wicked and his music was the devils…really! My poor sister-in-law
went water skiing in a dress because she didn’t want to offend God by
wearing a swim suit. I just knew that God was not the way my preacher
and fellow Christians portrayed Him. That God created everyone and loved
them all including me and my Mother. I always loved God, and I always
prayed and they were answered.
When Ramtha appeared on a Sunday in February, 1977, his most startling
revelation to me was that God was not ‘up there in the sky’ but lived
inside me! and in everyone else, too! Oh, My Stars!
Ramtha reasoned with me that if God created all things, then what did
God create them out of — considering all things could have come from
only One Source, which would have been the Creator Himself! So, we are
God Stuff! I loved the message! It made sense to me.
ILT: What was Ramtha’s mission?
JZ: Ramtha’s purpose was to teach humanity that they are Divine and God
is within them. Each person is so powerful they create reality as we
know it and in doing so, each person is responsible for the evolution of
not only their individual reality but of the Earth as well. We are the
greatest mystery we search for! But Ramtha will tell you that this is
not just philosophy for philosophy rarely makes reality beyond the doubt
barrier in our brain. It remains, just a philosophical belief system
without any utility in making real events occur. Ramtha teaches and then
instructs each student how to manifest a reality. Only with creating a
thing from thought do we now have TRUTH. We learn that consciousness and
energy within our brain creates the thoughts which manifest as our daily
life.
